Capacity is shown in mAh. Some of that energy is lost when the power bank charges your phone, so expect roughly two-thirds of the number on the box to reach your phone. Most phone batteries are between about 3,000 and 5,000mAh, so a 10,000mAh power bank gives a typical phone around two full charges.
Flying? Power banks must go in your hand luggage, not the hold. Banks up to 100Wh are normally fine, and between 100Wh and 160Wh need your airline's approval. The Wh rating is printed on the power bank, and a 30,000mAh bank is usually just over 100Wh, so check with your airline first.
