Magnetic power banks and chargers snap onto the back of phones with MagSafe magnets, which iPhone 12 and later models have built in. Qi2 is the newer standard that brings the same magnetic fit to other phones. Most phones without magnets need a magnetic case or a stick-on ring.
Wireless charging is handy but slower and a little warmer than charging with a cable, so a cable is still the quickest way to top up.
