Best robot vacuums (UK, 2026)
A robot vacuum is the gadget people say they'd never go back from. The newest models empty their own bins and wash their own mops, so you barely touch them for weeks.
- eufy Clean L60 with Self-Empty Station is best budget pick that empties itself
- eufy X10 Pro Omni is best value vacuum-and-mop all-in-one
- eufy Omni E25 is best all-rounder, with laser and camera navigation
- eufy Omni S2 is top of the range
What to look for
Navigation matters most. Robots with LiDAR (a spinning laser on top) map your home and clean in neat rows, rather than bumping around at random. Add a camera and they can spot and avoid socks, cables and pet mess.
Suction is measured in pascals (Pa). Higher numbers pull more dirt out of carpets, but anything from about 5,000Pa is fine for hard floors and low-pile carpets.
Do you need a station?
A self-empty station sucks the dirt out of the robot into a bag, so you only empty it every few weeks instead of after every clean. All-in-one stations also refill water and wash and dry the mop pads.
If you have pets or long hair in the house, a self-emptying model is worth the extra money.
Robot vacuums need a reasonably clear floor to do their job. Ten minutes picking up cables and toys before the first run makes a big difference.

How we chose
We compared eufy's UK range from its own store, because eufy offers UK support and its robots cover every budget. We picked one model for each step up in features: self-emptying, mopping, smarter navigation and the flagship.
Common questions
Do robot vacuums work on carpet?
Yes. Higher suction helps on thicker carpets, and most robots boost power automatically when they detect carpet.
Will a robot vacuum get stuck?
Occasionally, on cables, rug tassels or very low furniture. Models with cameras avoid most obstacles, and you can mark no-go zones in the app.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
For scheduling, maps and no-go zones, yes. Most will still clean with a button press without it.
How often do I empty a self-empty station?
eufy says the L60's bag holds up to 60 days of dirt. In homes with pets, expect to change it sooner.
